Cuboid Shortlisted for a Marketing Week Award
and We're Still Pinching Ourselves!
We've got some pretty exciting news to share...
Cuboid Self Storage has been shortlisted for a prestigious Marketing Week Award in the Best Use of a Small Budget category!
For a proudly independent self-storage company based in Chorely, Lancashire, seeing our name alongside household brands including Foster's, Specsavers, Nestlé and Kraft Heinz feels pretty surreal. But here's the thing, this nomination isn't just about us. It's about what can happen when a brilliant community comes together for an incredible cause.
Last Christmas, we set ourselves a challenge to create something unforgettable. The result? The World's Largest Charity Advent Calendar – built from 24 of our storage containers.
Every day throughout December, one giant door was opened to reveal a container packed full of donated Christmas gifts. Together with our amazing customers, local businesses, volunteers and partners, we supported 24 charities across the North West and, alongside Cash for Kids' Mission Christmas, helped bring Christmas to 14,427 children across Lancashire through an incredible 42,123 donated gifts. That's a lot of smiles.
What makes this award nomination even more special is that it's recognising a campaign that genuinely made a difference. Yes, it was creative. Yes, it turned heads. But more importantly, it brought communities together to help children who might otherwise have gone without presents on Christmas morning.
As a business, we've always believed storage is about more than just space. It's about supporting the people and communities around us. This campaign perfectly captured what Cuboid Self Storage is all about, and we're incredibly proud that it's been recognised by one of the UK's biggest marketing awards.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped make the campaign possible – our fantastic team, our generous customers, our incredible volunteers, our brilliant charity partners and everyone who donated gifts. This achievement belongs to all of you.
Whatever happens on awards night, we're already celebrating. Being shortlisted is an honour in itself, and it's proof that you don't need the biggest budget to make the biggest impact.
Now... fingers crossed! 🤞
Watch this space... and who knows what we'll build next Christmas?
