Snap a selfie with the World’s Largest Charity Advent Calendar
Cuboid Self Storage INVITES the public to come along and take a festive selfie in front of ‘The World’s Largest Charity Advent Calendar’

The calendar is a record-breaking creation bringing Christmas cheer to thousands of children across the North West this December.
Located at Botany Bay Business Park in Chorley, the 34ft high x 48ft wide x 20ft deep structure is the creation of Cuboid, who are supporting dozens of charities across Lancashire, including Chorley Youth Zone, Endeavour Project in Bolton, and Millbank Wellbeing, Preston.
Made up of 24 steel self storage shipping containers, complete with numbered doors and festive lights, visitors will be able to see the calendar up close on Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th December, from 4pm to 8pm each day.
Visitors can also drop off any Christmas gifts for the Mission Christmas appeal, which Cuboid is supporting.
In partnership with Cash for Kids, Cuboid Self Storage’s Head Office in Chorley Lancashire is also serving as the Lancashire HQ for Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas 2025, after the company donated use of warehouse space.
Each day, Cuboid has been donating a container's worth of presents for local families, ensuring that thousands of children across the region wake up to a gift on Christmas morning. Following overwhelming demand for presents for all ages, Botany Bay is now acting as a drop off location for people to deliver any gifts they’re able to donate.
In particular, Mission Christmas is calling for gifts for teenagers, including socks, makeup, hats, gloves, headphones, books and portable chargers.
Tim Knowles, Managing Director at FI Real Estate, said,“The Cuboid Calendar is helping families across the region, and the response so far has been fantastic. It’s been wonderful to see our team come together and support those who need it most, and I’m really proud of the result.”
Laura Charlton, Regional Charity Manager at Mission Christmas said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the response to our appeal this year. No sooner are donations coming in that our amazing volunteer team is packing them and sending them straight out to local charities. The sad reality, however, is that we still need thousands more donations to meet demand.
“Cuboid’s support so far, donating over 7,500 gifts and use of their warehouse space, has already helped us to ensure thousands of children have gifts to open on Christmas morning. Every donation makes a difference and with the community coming together, we can make sure no child is left without a little festive joy this year.”
